Raja Ampat Marine Park fees
Every visitor to Raja Ampat must pay the Marine Park entry pass. As of the current published rate, this is IDR 1,000,000 per person (~USD 65), valid for one calendar year. The fee is collected by the yacht in Sorong or at the first checkpoint. Funds go to conservation, patrols and local villages.
Crew gratuity
Gratuity is discretionary. Guideline: 5–10% for good service, 10–15% for exceptional. Given in cash (USD or IDR) to the captain on the final day, who distributes it across the crew. For a 7-night charter on a USD 100,000 yacht, that's typically USD 5,000–15,000.
How to compare inclusions across yachts
Compare the total charter cost — not just the nightly rate. Ask: is fuel included, is diving line-item or bundled, is alcohol included, are transfers included, is there APA. We produce a full apples-to-apples breakdown for every option we send you.
