Why Mischief works for Raja Ampat

Launched in 2016, Mischief effortlessly intertwines Indonesia's traditional vessel heritage with modern comfort. She stretches 29 m long and 7.30 m wide, cruises at 8-10 knots and carries a 100 HP RIB tender. Three named cabins — the 27 m² Komodo Suite, 18 m² Sumba Cabin (king bed, sea views) and the intimate Banda Cabin — each feature full air-conditioning and private ensuite bathrooms. A crew of nine — captain, cruise director, chief officer, chief engineer, engineer, chef, bartender, housekeeper and tender-boat operator — looks after just six guests. Inclusions cover diving equipment, linen & towels, national park fees and a beach BBQ on 3+ night bookings.

Food and dining on Mischief

Mischief's chef Takim serves a full-board Indonesian-international fusion menu, with a fresh buffet lunch, plated set-menu dinner and daily breakfast pastries, fruit platter, granola and eggs any style. Menus rotate over the voyage across regional Indonesian dishes and Western favourites.

• Breakfasts: pastries, seasonal fruit platter, granola, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, croissants, chicken sausages, nasi goreng, and eggs any style (omelette, scrambled, sunny side up, poached)
• Buffet lunches: grilled chicken, prawn sautéed butter, grilled fish garlic butter, chicken tagine, chicken katsu, fish curry (gulai ikan), prawn salad, caprese salad, carrot & pineapple salad, sautéed tofu & tempeh, grilled vegetables

Mischief carries a full bar list built around signature cocktails, classics, mocktails, beer, wine and spirits. Bartender Adi Usman (ex-cruise ship) mixes drinks nightly; all prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah.

Crew and service on Mischief

Mischief runs with a permanent crew of nine — a mix of Labuan Bajo locals from the Bajo tribe, Bali-region dive professionals and a Spanish PADI Master Instructor cruise director — ensuring six guests are looked after with a 1.5:1 crew ratio.

• Captain — Nasrul "Nash" Juje: From Labuan Bajo (Bajo tribe), 20+ years in Indonesian waters — dive boats through luxury ships across Komodo, Sumbawa and Bali. Off-roader in his spare time.
• Cruise Director — David Duran Royo: From Barcelona, Spain, joined July 2024. PADI Master Instructor and SSI Scuba Instructor with experience in Spain, Mexico, Raja Ampat and Komodo. Passionate about sustainability and water sports.
• Chief Officer — Irsan: From Bima, NTB, joined November 2022. Formerly tender-boat operator at Ayana Komodo Resort with wide Komodo operational experience.
• Chief Engineer — Yori Maitimu: From Ambon, Maluku, joined June 2022 after Samara Liveaboard. Worked on KLM Sama-Sama, Sayang Laga Ligo and Moana.
• Engineer — Suriyadi: From Ujung Pandang, joined February 2024 from KM Lako Sae at Ayana Komodo. Strong technical background across mechanical systems.
• Chef — Muhamad "Takim" Mustakim: From Labuan Bajo, joined 2024 after Samara Liveaboard (2023) and Local Collection. Cooks the daily Indonesian-international menu.
• Bartender — Adi Usman: From Lombok, joined May 2024 after working on a cruise ship. Runs the signature cocktail programme.
• Housekeeping — Vinsensius Sutrian: From West Manggarai, joined June 2024 with hospitality background from Ayana Komodo and Trans Luxury Yacht. Keeps cabins and linens immaculate; plays guitar and sings on quiet nights.
• Tender-boat operator — Alfonsius "Sandro" Sandro Radu: From Labuan Bajo (Manggarai Barat, Flores), joined November 2022 after KLM Reviéro. Handles all shore transfers and safety on the tender.
