Why Lamima works for Raja Ampat

Lamima is a 65.2-metre two-masted phinisi designed by Marcelo Penna of Barcelona and hand-built in Sulawesi from ironwood and teak by master boat builders Haji Baso and Haji Saka. She is the only phinisi ever built to RINA (Registro Italiana Naval) international class — Southeast Asia's only luxury phinisi certified to that safety and stability standard. Seven ensuite cabins sleep up to 14 guests: one master suite with king bed, ensuite and dressing room, four VIP double cabins with king beds, and two twin cabins with two American-size singles (110 × 204 cm). The main deck holds a spacious saloon with bar, lounge and dining table for 14, plus expansive alfresco decks for dining and lounging. A wellness deck adds yoga space, ice bath, meditation, a full fitness set (spinning bike, boxing bag, TRX, dumbbells, skipping rope, pull-up bar) and two Balinese therapists. The onboard PADI dive centre carries a Bauer nitrox compressor, full kit for 14 guests and two PADI instructors — unlimited air or nitrox diving is included in the charter fee.

Lamima cabins, layout and deck spaces

Lamima is laid out across three decks — an upper deck reserved for yoga, sunbathing and the wellness area, a main deck holding the saloon, indoor bar, alfresco dining and master suite lounge, and a lower deck with the remaining six guest cabins.

Food and dining on Lamima

Two Indonesian gourmet chefs source produce from local markets, top Indonesian suppliers and village fishermen, with a menu that moves fluently between refined Asian and European cuisine. Breakfast is typically served in the elegant indoor dining room; lunch and dinner alfresco on the main deck under a sun awning by day and open stars by night.

Crew and service on Lamima

Twenty Indonesian crew, many with Lamima since her launch — warm, discreet and genuinely proud of the yacht. Guests are looked after by a cruise director, two PADI dive instructors, two gourmet chefs, two Balinese therapists, a first officer / photographer and a dedicated guide.

• Cruise Director & Guide — Ali: Meets guests at the airport, hosts the nightly next-day briefing at dinner and leads shore excursions, village visits and hikes. Also a certified PADI dive instructor.
• PADI Dive Instructor — Martinus: Second PADI instructor onboard — welcomes guests on arrival, runs check dives and leads Discovery Dives and certification courses.
• First Officer & Photographer — Rizky: Handles navigation duties and, on request, captures the trip on Lamima's professional camera, underwater camera and drone (shared privately at the end of the charter).
• Spa Therapists — Koko & Listi: Two Balinese therapists offering complimentary massages and beauty treatments all day. Koko also leads morning yoga / fitness and evening meditation; Listi runs the second yoga / fitness slot.

Activities on board Lamima

Lamima's day flows around your preferences. A typical rhythm: sunrise yoga or fitness with Koko or Listi, an ice bath on deck, à la carte breakfast, then a split morning between guided dives / snorkelling and a full beach setup with beanbags, water toys and chilled drinks. Afternoons for massages and second-round diving; sunset drinks on a hilltop; dinner under the stars.
