Celestia is a 45-metre double-masted phinisi built by hand in Bulukumba, Sulawesi and launched in 2023, sailing under the UNESCO-recognised Bugis boatbuilding tradition. She carries seven en-suite staterooms for up to fourteen guests — one 39 m² master with private terrace, two 30 m² owner's staterooms with private terraces, two lower-deck queens and two lower-deck twins — supported by an in-house crew of seventeen. Interiors by Cape Town-based Deirdre Renniers pair Balinese-sourced furnishings with modern lines, and shared spaces span a main-deck dining salon, panoramic rooftop sun lounge, foredeck bowsprit lounge and a large aft dive platform.

Celestia cabins, layout and deck spaces

Celestia is laid out across four levels — rooftop, upper, main and lower decks — with all seven guest staterooms en-suite. Cabins are split between the upper deck (2 owner's staterooms, both with private terrace), main deck (1 master stateroom, 39 m², private terrace) and lower deck (2 deluxe queens and 2 deluxe twins).

Food and dining on Celestia

Celestia's onboard kitchen is overseen by Executive Chef Wayan Kresna Yasa, with Chef Reginal (ex-Prana, ex-Oracle) and Asst. Chef Youli cooking daily. The menu is a modern Indonesian tasting experience — Balinese, Sumatran, Manadonese and Papuan flavours built around fresh local produce, seafood and slow-cooked meats, with international breakfasts, plated lunches and multi-course dinners.

• Breakfast: fresh pastries, Island fruit platters, eggs any style, Eggs Benedict, quiche, NY B.E.C. bagel, plus Indonesian classics like bubur ayam, nasi goreng kampung and mie goreng
• Lunch: chopped and gado-gado salads, East Coast seafood chowder, beef burger, BBQ tempe sandwich and grilled cheese with heritage pig ham
• Snacks: charcuterie boards, spice-island cashews, lumpia rolls, shrimp cocktail, edamame and Indonesian dips
• Dinner: multi-course tasting menus rotating dishes like grilled octopus, beef rendang, Jimbaran king prawns, Betutu smoked spring chicken and Manadonese roasted fish

Wellness and spa on Celestia

Celestia carries a dedicated onboard therapist (Bella, 9 years' experience, ex-Aqua Blu) and a spa treatment area with sea view. Every charter includes up to 3 hours of complimentary massage therapy per day in the Celestia Signature Balinese or Swedish styles.

• Celestia Signature Balinese — acupressure, skin rolling, firm/gentle stroking, percussion and essential oils
• Celestia Signature Swedish — kneading, rubbing, stroking and tapping of targeted muscles
• Deep tissue — slow strokes, direct pressure and cross-grain friction for tight muscles
• Reflexology — thumb, finger and hand pressure on targeted zones

Additional massage sessions or specialised styles beyond the daily 3-hour allowance are charged at USD 60 per hour (incl. 11% VAT). Alternative session lengths are billed proportionally.

Celestia sails with 17 full-time crew — an all-Indonesian team led by Captain Dining Duti Anggoro (14 years, ex-Damai, Amandira, Dragon, Aurora) and Cruise Director Jennifer Tan (13 years, fluent in five languages). Guest-facing roles include a PADI Divemaster excursion leader from Raja Ampat, an onboard spa therapist, an executive-chef-led kitchen and dedicated stewards.
