- Minimum nights & embarkation
- Raja Ampat minimums vary by route from Sorong: 5 nights (North & Central), 6 nights (South only), 9 nights (South & Central) and 11 nights for a full North-South-Central loop. Charters over Christmas / New Year (18 December – 4 January) have a 7-night minimum in Raja Ampat. Komodo minimums from Labuan Bajo run 3 nights (Komodo & Surroundings) to 10 nights (Komodo & Sumbawa). Sumbawa Besar and Lombok relocations are only offered in May, June, September and part of July with a 1–2 night relocation fee; no relocations between 15 July and 31 August due to weather. All relocation fees are non-commissionable and based on the invoice nightly rate.

- Raja Ampat charters embark and disembark in Sorong Harbour (SOQ); Komodo charters start and end in Labuan Bajo (LBJ). Alternative pick-up or drop-off from a Raja Ampat Central resort is available for 6-night+ charters with a half-night relocation fee, waived on charters of 10 nights or more.
- Check-in & check-out
- Check-in and check-out both run 6am–11am on the start and end dates of the charter. Share flight and hotel details in advance via the passenger form.
- Pricing & taxes
- 2026 nightly rate is USD 6,045 per night including taxes. A 10% Christmas / New Year surcharge applies to charters between 18 December and 4 January, taking the rate to USD 6,650 per night. All additional on-board purchases are subject to 11% Indonesian tax. Rates may be adjusted for extreme fuel price movements or governmental fee changes.
- Payment terms
- Booking is confirmed on written email confirmation — phone or WhatsApp holds expire after 48 hours. For bookings 60+ days before departure: 40% deposit within 7 days of the invoice, balance due 60 days before departure. For bookings inside 60 days: full payment within 7 days of the invoice. Bank transfer or Flywire; guests bear any bank fees. On-board additional charges settle before disembarkation in cash, by bank transfer or by credit card (2% processing fee).
- Late payment
- If the balance is not received before disembarkation time, a 1% penalty fee per day of delay may apply. If the deposit is not received within the payment terms, Navélia may cancel the booking and resell the dates.
- Cancellation
- Cancellations more than 60 days before departure: 40% of the total is retained. Cancellations under 60 days: 100% is retained. Rescheduling more than 60 days out is possible with a fee equal to 50% of the total charter plus any rate difference between the original and new dates, on a pro-rata basis per the original invoice. All cancellations must be in writing and acknowledged by both parties.
- Special requests
- Special orders (specific wines, spirits, dietary items, special foods) need at least 30 days notice before departure. Requests inside that window can't be guaranteed.
- Guest information & documents
- All passenger forms — plus copies of passports, dive certification cards and dive insurance proof — must reach Navélia at least 1 month before departure to organise the charter and comply with local regulations. Guest information is treated confidentially and only shared where required by law.
- Itineraries
- Published routes are samples. Daily plans may shift for weather, sea state, anchorage availability, local events or regulations — the captain's and cruise director's decisions on safety and routing are final. Refunds only apply if the trip duration is significantly impacted.
- Yacht delivery
- Navélia delivers the yacht at the port of boarding in full commission with all required licences and equipment. If delivery is impossible within 24 hours of the charter start (for reasons other than Force Majeure) and no suitable replacement vessel is found, the charter may be cancelled or rescheduled and any deposit refunded in full within 7 days.
- Liability & insurance
- Boating, cruising, diving, snorkelling, sailing and swimming carry inherent risks including serious injury or loss of life. Guests certify they have no mental, physical or other condition that would create a hazard to themselves or others. Dive insurance is mandatory for scuba divers; travel and baggage insurance is strongly recommended (suggested providers: chapkadirect.com, worldnomads.com, safetywings.com; dive insurance via DAN — Divers Alert Network).
- Force majeure
- Force Majeure covers Acts of God, natural disasters, weather, accidents and other events beyond the operator's control. If a Named Storm threatens the charter area, the Captain / Cruise Director may terminate or cancel the charter at their sole discretion with no refund. Where Navélia cannot deliver the service for operational reasons, a comparable alternative of equal or superior quality is offered, or a refund of the charter fee.
- Complaints handling
- Any shortcomings should be reported immediately to the Cruise Director on board, who will note the time, date and nature of the complaint and try to resolve it there and then. Complaints that can't be solved on board are settled in writing within 6 weeks of receipt by email.
